Transformation is a radical change during the course of life. More than an adjustment, it reshapes the fabric of your being, down to the levels of values and core beliefs. A metamorphosis on a potentially fundamental level, which most people metaphorically relate to a caterpillar becoming a butterfly or moth.

Transformation requires an awakening to the possibility of change. Prior to this awakening, your life is going on in its usual way and then something happens, a precipitating event. This event can be anything, trauma or triumph, extraordinary or mundane. The messenger can take any form.
Receiving the message is what awakens your sense of possibility. From this awakening your curiosity should be given wings to explore the ways to integrate the change you want to see in your life. For some, this will be very intuitive and immediate. Others will need to research and plan.
The most important part of this stage in transformation is the integration of new habits and beliefs. Understanding how creating a new life means letting go of the old one. Some things will transition and be congruent. Somethings won’t. The balance is your choice. It’s your journey.
Once you have found what works as routine and ritual, and you have released anything holding you to your past, you will have created a transformation. You are the artist and architect.
As your transformation solidifies on the inside and is woven into the fabric of yourself you will demonstrate externally that you are standing in your inner power.
This inner strength and self acceptance will allow you to reach further in your transformation and it will begin to serve you and others.

Unlike the butterfly, you may come to a new season and transform again in your life. You may make small transitions as you progress. Live with integrity and authenticity and each transformation will enrich you beyond measure.
